New Church Family dedicated its Nov. 1 Benevolence Collection to support its annual Teresa's Kids Christmas project. Donations topped $1,300. In December, more donations poured in, topping $1,700. Thank you for your generosity. Members and friends brought in cash, checks, canned goods, new or like-new toys and children's clothing. The donations allowed Teresa Wright, a social worker in the Volusia School system, to buy holiday supplies for needy families. More than 100 gifts were wrapped by the church's helper "elves" on Dec. 13. 

     If you wish to take a tax deduction for your gift, please make your check payable to New Church Family, but write "Teresa's Kids" on the memo line. Donations will be accepted throughout November and December, but we hope a lion's share will be given Nov. 1 so Teresa can get an early start on shopping for the best deals.
