EMERGENCY UPDATE -- Because of the coronovirus epidemic, New Church Family members voted March 22 to suspend worship services and events for at least a month. Please join our ministry online, found on this website plus our Facebook Group page.
BACKGROUND -- New Church Family, a nondenominational church, has been conducting GLBTQ worship services since 1986. Typically, we meeting for Christian worship and Holy Communion every Sunday at 10 a.m. All are welcome. Our typical 75-minute service includes 3 or 4 hymns, both traditional and contemporary, one or more inspirational videos, Prayers & Praises of the People (spoken and written) and a Message of about 20-30 minutes. Our style of Communion consists of a wafer dipped in grape juice and placed on your tongue or handed to you by a clergy person or assistant, and a brief personal prayer, in front of our altar. If you prefer, you may serve yourself at an acolyte station near our piano. If you are disabled, we will be happy to bring a wafer to you in your seat. Join us after service for coffee and refreshments in our lobby. Dress is casual. Visitors are always welcome. We have plentiful parking and easy access for wheelchairs, scooters and walkers.
